We take privacy seriously and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
When you contact us, request a demo or start a live chat, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your messages.
When you subscribe to updates we collect your email address. When you browse this site we collect usage and device information — pages visited, referrer, approximate location and device type — through cookies and analytics tools described in our Cookies policy.
If your business subscribes to the EFFICIENT platform, we also hold the account details of your users (name, email, role) and the business data you store in the system.
How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries and provide demos, to operate, secure and improve this site and the platform, to provide support, to send updates you have asked for, and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we only send marketing you can opt out of with one click.

When we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business — cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), email delivery and analytics providers — and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
Some providers process data outside Australia (for example in the United States). Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Data on the EFFICIENT platform
Business data a subscriber stores in EFFICIENT — customers, stock, orders, financial records — belongs to the subscriber. Each subscriber’s data lives in its own isolated tenancy, is encrypted in transit, and is backed up. We process it only to provide the service, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
Security & retention
We protect personal information with encryption in transit, per-tenant isolation, access controls and audit logging. We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and we delete or de-identify it when it is not.
Your rights & choices
You can ask us for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
